Redefining luxury eyewear with innovative materials, the new Serengeti® Genus Collection provides improved visual acuity and superior comfort, made possible by a combination of high-tech, lightweight components.
The five Genus models are the first and only sunglasses to use advanced Trivex® material for both frame fronts and exclusive Polar PhD® lenses. Lighter and more durable than polycarbonate, Trivex allows for frame shapes and dimensions that might compromise durability if executed in other materials.
In addition, use of Trivex for the frame fronts and lenses further enhances the overall aesthetics by allowing for a virtually seamless transition between the sunglasses two largest components.
Serengeti’s proprietary Polar PhD lenses are fitted to all Genus styles and incorporate three technologies to optimize common interactions with light, reducing eye strain and improving visual acuity. Pioneered by Serengeti, Photochromic technology instantly adjusts tint to compensate for changing light conditions, while Spectral Control manages specific colors in the light spectrum to sharpen contrasts.
The Genus Collection also benefits from Advanced Polarized Surface Technology – a proprietary process that delivers up to 98% polarizing efficiency and
removes any possibility of delaminating.
Thin, sleek, and nearly seamless, enjoy the clearest, most optically correct view of everything your journey has to offer. All Genus models are specifically engineered to be RX-able and are offered in a number of frame finishes and lens tints.
The Genus Collection features five distinct, modern styles for men and women including the Nunzio (above) and Duccio (below).
